Antaira Technologies has introduced the LMP-0702G-SFP-24-T-V2, an environmentally-hardened, Light Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch. Designed to support industrial networking applications in demanding environments, this rugged solution combines copper and fiber Gigabit Ethernet connectivity to deliver the bandwidth and flexibility required for applications such as factory automation, wastewater treatment, oil and gas operations, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
The LMP-0702G-SFP-24-T-V2 features four Gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3at/af Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, supplying up to 30W per port to powered devices. It also includes one additional data-only Gigabit Ethernet port and two dual-rate SFP fiber ports, enabling high-speed uplinks over extended distances. Integrated PoE software supports remote monitoring, diagnostics, and recovery for efficient device management.
Engineered for demanding applications, the switch supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C, ensuring reliable performance in extreme environments. It offers exceptional resistance to electromagnetic interference, shock, and vibration, making it suitable for deployment in space-constrained areas with its DIN rail mount and front-facing interfaces.
Built with advanced networking capabilities, the LMP-0702G-SFP-24-T-V2 incorporates ITU-T G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection Switching (ERPS) for redundancy and supports RSTP and MSTP protocols for enhanced reliability. Its Light Layer 3 firmware enables static routing between VLANs and is fully compatible with version 2 hardware. The switch’s robust security and management features include VLAN, QoS, SNMP, RMON, Modbus TCP, and 802.1X authentication, along with secure HTTPS, SSH, and SSL protocols. Support for IGMP versions 1, 2, and 3 enhances multicast traffic handling, while its integrated DC-to-DC power booster accommodates voltage inputs ranging from 12VDC to 55VDC. This flexibility allows for PoE power budgets of 90W with a 12VDC input for vehicle applications and up to 120W with 24–36VDC input for solar-powered setups.
Management is simplified through multiple options, including CLI, Telnet, and web-based interfaces. With its innovative design and extensive feature set, the LMP-0702G-SFP-24-T-V2 offers a scalable, reliable networking solution for a wide range of industrial applications.
