ElectroCraft Expands Ann Arbor Facility, Strengthen U.S. Manufacturing Ops

ElectroCraft has recently expanded its Ann Arbor, Michigan facility, reinforcing the company’s continued commitment to U.S. manufacturing independence and supply chain reliability.

The anticipated goal of this investment is to increase domestic production capacity, enhance research and development, and reduce lead times for customers across multiple industries.  The expansion also enables ElectroCraft to accelerate product development, improve customization capabilities, and provide faster, more reliable delivery of motion control solutions. By reducing reliance on global supply chains, the company strengthens its ability to serve customers with greater speed and efficiency.

  • Motion Control R&D Center – The expanded facility serves as a hub for motion control research and development, allowing ElectroCraft’s engineering team to advance new technologies and optimize existing products.
  • Enhanced Motor Drive Development – Additional space and resources dedicated to DC motor drive design enable faster prototyping and customization, improving responsiveness to customer needs.
  • In-House PCBA Production – The facility now includes on-site printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) production, ensuring tighter quality control, reduced lead times, and decreased dependence on overseas supply chains.
