Endress+Hauser, global industry experts in measurement and automation technology, has acquired full ownership of software company CodeWrights GmbH, based in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The Swiss company purchased the remaining 33 percent of shares from Pepperl+Fuchs, effective July 1, 2025. Since its founding in 2002, CodeWrights had operated as a joint venture, with Endress+Hauser holding two-thirds of the shares and Pepperl+Fuchs the remaining third.
Endress+Hauser has acquired full ownership of CodeWrights, a specialist in digitalization solutions for measurement and automation technology.
CodeWrights specializes in developing customized software solutions for the digitalization of measurement and automation systems. Its portfolio includes apps and cloud-based applications, industrial automation software, and embedded device software. The company employs nearly 50 people and has built a reputation for profitable growth and trusted partnerships within the industrial automation sector.

This decision enables faster coordination and provides new impetus for our shared growth. CodeWrights will continue to serve all customers with the same commitment and maintain its established service portfolio. Employees at both CodeWrights and Endress+Hauser can expect continuity in their work and collaboration.”
