Powered by the Intel® Alder Lake N processor, the Nuvo-2822 features four PCIe/PCI slots for ease of integration with various industrial cards, including those equipped with AI computing capabilities.

The Nuvo-2822 is equipped with the Intel N97 processor, which features a 4-core/4-thread architecture with a 12W thermal design power (TDP). This configuration provides reliable computing performance suitable for demanding automation control systems, while the compact design allows for installation in confined spaces within industrial equipment.

The box-PC is designed for straightforward integration, with front-accessible I/O ports that simplify peripheral device connection. It supports a range of industrial I/Os, including dual Ethernet ports with I210-IT controllers and dual USB 3.2 Gen2 ports with screw-lock mechanisms for secure connections.

Additional I/O options include an 8-channel isolated digital input/output (DIO) and four serial communication (COM) ports, ensuring the product’s seamless compatibility with a variety of industrial sensors, indicators, motors, and actuators.

The Nuvo-2822 offers two PCIe slots and two PCI slots, providing flexibility for integrating video capture and motion control cards. It is also compatible with Neousys’ 100 TOPS Intelligent Frame Grabber Card, powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, which allows for the upgrade of existing x86 systems to AI inference-capable edge computing platforms.

To address global demands for energy efficiency, the Nuvo-2822 includes a Super Power Saving Mode that reduces power consumption during idle and shutdown states, contributing to overall energy savings. The unit operates within a temperature range of -10°C to 70°C and meets MIL-STD-810H standards for vibration and shock resistance, making it suitable for use in both compact cabinets and harsh environmental conditions.
