Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, STS Sensors originated as a 
developer of capacitive sensor solutions. It has since advanced into a global manufacturer of position, magnetic, and capacitive sensors for industrial automation and machine safety.
STS offers products such as non-contact position sensors (stroke sensors, angle sensors), magnetic field sensors (including redundant variants), intelligent linear sensors, and fully sealed capacitive proximity devices. Its sensor designs emphasize dust and water resistance, compact form factors, and real-time performance—often certified to SIL and safety-integrity levels.
Serving industrial automation, packaging machinery, robotics, and process control markets, STS sensors provide reliable feedback in systems where precision motion, safety interlocks, and diagnostics are essential.
